This guide explains how to configure tag subscriptions on catalogue detail pages. It is intended for the people configuring catalogue pages and catalogue fields from the website editor and the Odoo backoffice.

When enabled, users can subscribe to specific tag values from a catalogue detail page. They can later manage those subscriptions from their account, and they receive email notifications when:

• they subscribe to a tag
• they unsubscribe from a tag
• a catalogue item related to one of their subscribed tags is published or updated

1. Enable Subscriptions On A Catalogue Field

To allow users to subscribe to tags from a catalogue detail page, the field must be configured from the website editor.

Open the catalogue page in website edit mode and select the catalogue field that should become subscribable.

Enable:

• Subscribable
• Widget: tag or tags

Use tag for a single tag value and tags for multiple tag values, depending on the field configuration.

The subscription behavior is applied per field. If a catalogue has several tag fields, each field that should support subscriptions must be configured individually.

2. Configure The Tag Web Widget If Needed

If the tag or tags widget is not available in the website editor, it must be configured from the Odoo backoffice.

Go to:
